Glastonbury 2014 Day-1

リアルタイムでは見れなかったのだけど、翌日アーカイブでフルセット視聴することが出来た。

Google Chromeで、Holaを導入。

リアルタイムでは見れなかったけど、どんな感じなのか気になったのでツイッターやインスタをチェック。

そしたら「Shelter Songをやらないなんて！」という書き込みが幾つかあってびっくり。

まさかの代表曲封印？なーんてモヤモヤしてたら、NMEに

Temples were forced to cut short their 3pm slot on the John Peel stage short due to late running. After playing previous single 'Mesmerise', singer James Bagshaw said that they "were going to play another song but [they'd] been told to go off," before finishing with familiar set-closer 'Shelter Song'.と出てました。

仕方なかったのだろうけど残念だったね～。正味40分の演奏時間でした。

1曲目のColours to Lifeでは少し音程が外れてたりしたけど、その後は安定。A Question Isn't Answeredは迫力あって良かった。

このJamesのジャケット、Austinで着てたブルゾンかと思ったら違うみたい。もっと細身でフリンジがサラサラしてる。素材何だろ。

何気にThomasのお花刺繍の上着もお初なんじゃない？似合うよ。似合うけどね・・・。

Psychedelic rock quartet Temples are no stranger to the big stages, having slowly played bigger stages in the last year. Friday’s set on the John Peel Stage and Saturday’s on the William’s Green Stage proved exactly why Temples are the best psychedelic rock band around right now without a doubt. Hypnotic set opener Colours to Life sent the crowd into a daze as the James Bagshaw-fronted group played the likes of Sun Structures, Ankh and Mesmerise with perfect precision.
